Boat recovery at Horseshoe weir, Brabyns Park
After coming out just above the weir in Marple Bridge, Alans boat ended up trapped in the horseshoe weir in Brabyns Park. Here Mark waits for the boat to circulate towards the bank

yeh speaking from experience this weir really hurts this being the wier i swam from in what i think was higher water than this thanks to stew for saving my life that day pity he couldnt do the same for my boat, blades and our only joint throwline RIP - steve (the sub7)
